A Sparkly Congrats!

Hi everyone!! I am getting crafting! I wanted to make a Congratulations card for my friend. She and her husband just bought a house!! I went with the tree from Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and added a jumbo eyelet to give the illusion of a tree swing! I also added some Martha Stewart glitter to some of the leaves for a sparkly touch!

I hope she likes it! I am so excited for her!!

Hello Everyone!!

I have decided to take my Stampin' Up! business to the next level and do a Stamp Camp once a month!! This could be anything from a Stamp-a-Stack to altered items to scrapbooking!!

I am excited about June's Camp!!

It is hard to believe that school is coming to an end! Do you have a teacher to get a gift for? Not sure what to do?

Well this camp is for YOU!! We will be making a cute backpack filled with candy and a matching card!!

WHEN? June 5th, 7-9pm

Class fee--$15.00 includes:

~enough supplies to make 2 backpacks and 2 cards (we will be making one in class and you will be ready to make more at home!)

~small bag filled with candy

You need to bring your paper trimmer and scoring blade or bone folder.

Payment is your RSVP and is DO TO ME BY May 27th.

Can't make this date? Gather up some of your friends and family and email me a convenient time for you! (minimum of 2 people, please.)

PS. Don't have a child in school? That is OK! This would make a great birthday gift or just because gift.

See you all soon!

A fun Train...

I am so excited to have found a playgroup here in town. I have been looking for over a year. Today is our first meeting and I just wanted to make up a card to give to each Mom.

Since I didn't have any energy to stamp last night, I had to make these up this am. I did 16 of them and kept it pretty easy to get done.

It's Mojo...err...Thursday!

WOW...It is Thursday already!? I just wanted to post my Mojo card quickly and I plan to do some crafting later on!!

I really wanted to use my "And Many Mower" set from the Occasions mini so I broke it out for this challenge. I also used "Trendy Trees" for the bush. I didn't want to use my scallop punch so I made "grass" for that part of the sketch!

in the meantime...Here is todays MOJO MONDAY card! The monkey in the middle is popped up with Stampin Dimensionals and the Wild Wasabi paper is embossed with my Texturz plates. I again used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig for most of this card. I am addicted!!

a Grand Mother's Day!!

I first want to apologize for not being on so much the last few weeks. I have been doing a lot of family time (Chris was on school vaca last week) and spring cleaning (having a yard sale this coming weekend) I hope to be back and full of fantastic cards and items soon!!

Here is what I made my self for Mother's Day!! Now that mine is done, I am making 2 more for my mother and mother in law!! (theirs will say "our grand" boys a play on grandsons!

I found these blank board books at AC Moore. When I saw "boys" I was so excited! I have a hard time finding plural and snatched them up (well over 3 mos ago!!)

I got the pattern paper at my local scrapbook store (the names are downstairs but will dig them out later!) and the cardstock is Bazzill from my collection.

If you have any questions let me know!!

Thanks and off to start theirs...although I have PLENTY of time!!!!

a Mojo birthday!

I can't believe I didn't get this on yesterday...but that is what I love about Mojo have a week to do it!!

I needed a birthday card for my brother in law and used the sketch to help me out. I don't have a lot of male sets so I used a set I got about 2 years ago at Michaels. It has the four card suits. It is a clear stamp set and I personally don't like clear as they don't have a crisp stamped image...but oh well.

Real Red ribbon

A Sandwich Scrapbook...

I thought I would post something I had made last year but with end of the school year coming someone might need a good teacher gift idea!!

I had seen something like this made years ago and thought it would be a perfect gift for my friends 4 year old as she would be starting preschool.

If you go into the aisle at the store with the rubbermaid containers, you will see a sandwich container. I used that as the "book" to hold the scrapbook in!

I just traced the inside on a scrap paper and used that as a template to cut out the sandwich pieces and then decorated!!

I hope you enjoy!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!
