Thank you!!

Yesterday was my Christmas Stamp a Stack. We all had a great time! I had 8 wonderful, crafty ladies there and was excited to meet Karen and see Kim again!

Everything was cut and prepared and I picked up some of the turquoise tins at convention to place everyone's goodies in to take home!

I made each gal a small pillow box gift for coming!

I hope they had as much fun as I did. I get such a craft high after being with them and can't wait to plan for the next event!!

Today I will be getting the September newsletter together so be on the lookout for an email from me in the next few days. It will be linked directly here again like August!!

Here are some pics!! Enjoy your Sunday!

Hostess Club ~sign up today!~

Right now we are at 7 stampers...You have until Friday to let me know if you want to join!! A great way for new stampers to start their "collection" or seasoned stampers to continue adding!!

Will be sending out an email BY SUNDAY with assigned months!!

Monthly commitment:

5 members- $30 before shipping

6 members - $25 before shipping

7 members- $22 before shipping

8 members- $18.75 before shipping

9 members- $17 before shipping

10 members- $15 before shipping

Hostess Clubs are a way for men and women of all ages to pursue their love of stamping and crafting, card-making and scrapbooking while still keeping an eye on personal budgets. In our tenuous economy, lots of people are looking for ways to watch dollars while still enjoying their craft. Clubs are a perfect solution! Club members plan their purchases so they continually check off items on their wish list incrementally, yet still receive the generous benefits offered for much larger purchases.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

1. How long does a club last?

A club last as long as there are member. For example, if there are 6 members, the club lasts 6 months (not counting December as that is an off month)

2. Do we get together each month?

I wil book a date each month (a convenient date for the hostess) where we get together to make a card and altered item.

3. What if I can't make it to the meeting?

If you can't make it, you need to get your order and money to me BY THAT DATE. There will not be any make up classes.

4. Can I bring a friend?

Hostesses can invite outside guests or collect outside orders to boost their hostess benefits. Just please let me know in advance to ensure enough supplies for everyone. Guests pay a $5 materials fee unless they place an order equivalent to the club's minimum.

5. Do I have to continue the club after my month?

YES! This is a commitment club. We need to be fair to ALL members and get our orders and money in ON TIME!

6. What do I do if it is my hostess month?

Each member of the club agrees to hostess their assigned meeting by bringing food/drinks for the group. The hostess has the option of hostessing the club meeting at their home or at mine.

Things to note:

1. Club will start as soon as we have enough members and run until all members have been hostess. This will be determined when final count is in.

2. We will skip December as it is a busy month for everyone with the holidays. Enjoy your time with your families and making holiday memories!

3. This club is a commitment. Please be considerate and your orders and payment to me when it is due if you can't make a meeting. I will keep your CC information on file it is makes it easier for you.

Sign up today!! I will be signing up until the end of August so we can get this club started!

Please email/call me if you have ANY questions.

Good Friday morning!!!

What a busy day yesterday!! There is so much going on and so many other demonstrators here (approx. 3000!) I am having a blast meeting new people, learning new things and seeing new ideas!

Our day today is pretty much like yesterday...

2 hours of General session, lunch and classes/ make n takes in afternoon!!

Yesterday, we were introduced to the new My Digital Studio...was not sure how I felt about that...but it is SO EASY AND SO FUN!!! Can't wait for a couple months when it goes live!!!

In fact... we are all given wrist bands for prizes and Heather's color was picked to WIN THE NEW DIGITAL STUDIO!! So when it goes live...she gets one FREE!!!! We are so so excited!!

It was SUPER COOL to met Shelly!! She is the cofounder of Stampin' Up! I didn't get to meet her in person yet but did meet her husband, Sterling and her daughter, Meghan!! Her husband said to see him today at 11 and I can get in front of the line to meet her!! EEEK!!!

We also saw some great ideas for the new Build a Bear line of stamps, paper and dies. They had a special Build a Bear at Momemto Mall for all of us attending to buy. I will take a picture of him and post later...He is so cute with his Stampin' Up! apron on and special stamp!!
Well I got up at 5 am Utah time (7 Eastern time) to get my coffee. I was waiting patiently for 545 so I could get a nice hot coffee. Can you believe I have to wait til almost 8 eastern time for a coffee!! UGH...There is a Starbucks in the hotel and OMG...IT IS SO GOOD!!

I've arrived!!!

I left Manchester at 9am and had a fairly decent trip to Detroit. The plane was SMALL and I had barely enough room to breathe but the man next to me was fantastic! Here are some pics from the ride to Detroit...

So after an hour delay in Detroit, we were finally on our way to SALT LAKE CITY!! We had the worst turbulence for over an hour, the air conditioner didn't work and the landing was TERRIBLE...BUT I GOT HERE!!

I had 2 windows where I sat and looked at the wing all ride!!
Heather and the girls were waiting for me and we went to get some lunch and headed toward their house!! We had 6 o' clock pedicures so I wasn't able to post til now! The lady did a great job on my pedicure. It felt so great!! It was my first time and won't be the last!! Look at the cute flower she put on there!!

well we are heading to bed and leaving bright and early for Salt Lake City...we are at Heather's house about 45 mins away!! We will be spending the next 3 nights at the hotel...KIDLESS!!!

Well night!!!

Well....I am off...

I can't believe it is already the day!! I seems like yesterday Heather and I were counting down from 100 days!!

I woke up with Tom this am at 430. I know I would have fallen back asleep but then wouldn't want to get up!! I figure I can try to rest on the plane.

Not much planned for today...just 51/2hours of flying!!

Heather and her girls will be picking me up in SLC and we will head to her house for the night. She did book up Pedicure Spas for tonight!!

Then leaving her house early for CONVENTION!!!

Please pray for safe travels for me and all the other Demo's heading to SLC!!!

Sunday, August 2, 2009

Just wanted to share a few "packing" pictures!! Alex will be spending time with Grammy and Grampy during the week and Daddy will be taking care of him and the house!!

See you soon...from UTAH!!
