It's just another MOJO monday...

Yup and I got my card done today!!

Here is the MOJO Monday sketch here..................................

I thought Today's sketch was just fantastic. It seemed springy to me...not sure why!

I used some Always DSP and Regal Rose and Pumpkin Pie paper to make this! See I can't get out of the orange...

I went shopping this past weekend and EVERY store had ORANGE everywhere!! Who knew Orange and Pink looked so great together!! (Sandy...ORANGE!! I will make you LOVE LOVE IT!! hee hee)

I kinda wish I had done the Rose ribbon instead but this isn't too bad. How can you be mad at a name like Chocolate Chip??!!

I even took out my Pun Fun stamp set. I think this is the 2nd time I used it.

Thanks for looking!!

A Paper Peirced Chick!

Hello all!

I want to apologize for not being on the ball last week. I have had a lot going on and actually got a bit overwhelmed. This week is another full week but I plan to posting atleast 3 times or more!!

Here is a quick card I made for my blogger challenge for March. It was to paper peirce and make it 3D...I hope I pass!!

Sorry for being so late...but it is still March ( i think!!)

I used some leftover SAB paper/ribbon and Bashful Blue cardstock. The egg piece is pop dotted! I need to use the SAMJ (stamp a ma jig) to make the happy Easter in the right bottom corner a darker color tho!

Well Enjoy and Thanks for stopping by!!

Christening...

I need to make a card for an upcoming Christening. I do not have any stamps that would work for what I have in my mind so I used the star from Eastern Bloom set and my Stamp a Ma Jig (OH i have had this for years and never really took it out...i figured out how to use it!! yeah!) to make a cross.

I need to make another one since this is NOT what I had in my mind but I am sure I can use for something!!

SO back to the drawing table today!!

Enjoy this one for now!!

New Blog Layout

As you can see, I have decided I needed to go to 3 columns on my blog layout. ALL Stampin' Up! related information will be on the left hand side and all other will stay on right. There are not alot of backgrounds for me to choose with this layout design so I won't be able to change it monthly like I have been. Please enjoy the Easter background for a few weeks!

Thank you stopping by my blog!

Happy Retirement!

Playing with another Sneak Peak stamp set from the upcoming Occasions mini!!

Just Beachy is just peachy...sorry had to do it!!

I love this set. It is so fun! I was inspired by the SCS gallery and came up with this card.

I broke out some retired cardstock, Soft Sky. I ran it through my Big Shot using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then used my versamarker to ink certain areas of the "waves" to add some Heat and Stick powder and Dazzling Diamonds (psssst..Sandy did you see the "bling"??) for some sea foam!

The Kraft paper is just torn to make some sand and I used my trusty markers to ink up some of the images to cut out! I just love the flip flops!! I can't wait to bring mine out of the closet!!

The relaxation stamp is from the Congrats SAB set! My MIL is retiring in a few months and LOVES the beach so this will be PERFECT for her!!

Thanks for looking and may not be posting again til Sunday (my SIL is coming from NY to visit!!)

A Par-fect Day!

As I promised...here is another Sneak Peak!

When I showed my husband this set he told me I had to get it...He knows there are a lot of uses with it!! and of course I was a good wife and listened to him!! hee hee

This will probably be my Father's Day card for my dad and FIL. They are both golfers and I know they will love it!

Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip (textured)and Old Olive cardstock and ink/markers. Whisper White cardstock, Old Olive ribbon and Stampin' Dimensionals. The pattern paper is leftover from the Rock a Bye Boy Simply Scrappin' Kit. (LOVE IT!!)

Ain't he a cutie! This was last years St. Patrick's Day...Can't believe a year has gone by...yikes!

I also took out some of my eyelets and snaps and made a border in the corner. I was impressed with how strait I did...not perfect but getting there!!

March Techniques class...

Well, it has been a month already and here we are again getting ready for Tech class! I had a lot of fun with these cards and know the gals will love them!!

1. Paper Piercing...this is a great way to add a little something different to your crafts!

2. paper tearing...how super cool is this technique? Whoever "invented" this one was genius! I love looking back at my son's kindergarten art and seeing this technique
done! We use it all the time!

3. Polished Stone...I thank my friend Tessa (check out her blog here!!) for pushing this technique to the front of the line. HOW FUN!! Whatever combo you do...it is always different! If you blot in rows it is so different than random...fun fun!!

Hope you enjoy!!

Recipe Box gift.

Here is the Recipe Box I made to go along with the scrapbook (I posted a week or so ago) for my husbands cousin's wedding shower.

I wasn't able to make it to the shower as we (my husband, boys and I) spent the weekend sick. We did make it to the aquarium Saturday but that night...

I found this super cute paper at Walmart (of all places) I also used my Certainly Celery SAB ribbon!

Hope you enjoy!!

I just love the Always set and have found it to be very versatile! I also broke out the Congrats SAB set. I do need to straiten the middle panel as I noticed it is crooked in the picture!!

Certainly Celery cardstock and marker
Pretty in Pink cardstock and marker
Mat Pack and piercing tool

Mojo Monday sketch!

I thought I would use the Mojo Monday sketch again to get a card done! It is so easy to whip something up using a sketch...gives your brain a bit of a vacation too!!

Here is today's sketch and my version of that sketch!

I used my A Kind Word stamp set with Brocade Blue cardstock and paper (level 1 hostess paper) and Rose Red. I didn't have blue ribbon so died my whisper white ribbon on the blue ink pad! The hat is the same blue but it is showing a bit aqua in the picture...strange!

Although my work isn't as amazing as the Mojo gals, I think I did ok!!

thanks for looking!

A Sparkly Easter!

YEAH! I stayed up and played with my new stamp set, A Good Egg! OH, how fun is this little chick!! I have BIG plans for the upcoming March Techniques club using this set!!

I also used my SU texturz plates to emboss the background. I just love the soft impression it makes. It is subtle but still WOW!

What is an Easter egg without SPARKLE?? I love using heat and stick powder to add a crystal effect on my cards!

The top half of the egg (i used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop it!) is actually the bottom of the chick! It only took a few seconds to cut it out and really is great!!

Thanks for looking!!
