Cupcake anyone??

I like to bake...really I do!! So when my sister asked me to make her a "super cool" gift card holder for a gift, I went blog/website surfing!!

I came across some "super cool" cupcake gift card holders and knew instantly I wanted to try!!

I loved this cupcake from Jakester and went to the link she posted for instructions...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkVm1Tif6gI
I pulled out some retired paper (my sister wanted pinks and reds) and went to town...

I have burnt myself in numerous places and have glue stick glue stuck to my fingers but thought it came out cute!! I need to figure out an easier way for the frosting tho...
Thanks for looking and give one a try!!

Retiring colors...are going fast!!!

It is no surprise that some retiring colors are going fast. As some colors sell out of smooth 8.5x11 paper, textured colors are being shipped in their place. Once the textured colors sell out...they are gone for good.

Here is an updated list from Stampin' Up!

The following items are no longer available to order. Our inventory has been depleted, and we are unable to order more.

101563: Sage Shadow card stock (8-1/2" x 11")
107101: Close to Cocoa card stock (12" x 12")
102837: Only Orange card stock (8-1/2" x 11")
107079: Sage Shadow card stock (12" x 12")

If there is any color you want to stock up on, I suggest you do it now!! Call/email me your order or stop by my store (sarahcoyle.stampinup.net)

See the retired colors on the right ---->

As always, let me know if I can answer any questions!!

Rag Quilted Purse ...thanks to my Big Shot!!

Ok Seriously, Can the Big Shot ever get old? UMMMM.........NOPE!!
I have seen these Rag Quilt purses made with the Scallop Square Bigz Die and just had to try it...

Now, I haven't sewn in ages and thanks to my sister for letting me use her machine (which I still need to practice on) so don't look too closely!!

It went quickly because you can cut up to 8 pieces with the Big Shot at time!!

First I found the instructions here at the Chic N Scratch Live website...how cool is this site!!

and got my fabric here from Fabricshoppe at Etsy
I did find the 100% cotton batting at Michael's and with a coupon was less then $2.50!! and there is TONS left!!

A Progressive scrapbook page

Hi!! I have a workshop coming up and the hostess asked to do a scrapbook page. So...we are going to make a 6x6 scrapbook page and I will demonstrate how to bump it up to a 8.5x11 page and eventually a 12x12 page...

Here is the 6x6 page
Now by adding it to a piece of 8.5x11 cardstock, you have progressed your page to fit your needs
Are you a 12x12 scrapper? Then take it up a notch to a 12x12 pc of cardstock!! i left the squares and jounaling blank since i don't scrap this size. I know the hostess does so I will give her the 12x12 page so she can add to it!!
Supplies...
Sweet Scoops and Happy Everything stamp sets
Sunny Day SSK
Summer Sun, Old Olive, Pink Passion, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie cardstock
Old Olive, Pink Passion, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie markers
Pumpkin Pie ribbon
Circle Bigz Die and Big Shot
Work Window and Tag punches

Thanks for looking and looking forward to Stampin' with Christi and her friends!!
